[JB TRAVEL] Hidden Gem Spot At Kota Iskandar Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Kota Iskandar is formerly Johor State New Administrative Centre for the state government of Johor, Malaysia. It is located in Iskandar Puteri. To give you a general idea of the location, it is located near to Puteri Harbour and Legoland Malaysia.Kota Iskandar was opened in April 2009 and the design inspired by Moorish-Andalusian and Johor Malay designs and motifs.

There are three theme courtyards here at Kota Iskandar, which are Musk Garden, Johor Artium courtyard and Flowers Garden. I finally made my way there with the help of the google map and the place is huge. There is few entrance to Kota Iskandar Nusajaya and you need to take a while to find secret garden for photography. We asked for help from people who are working there.

How to Get There
It is advisable to drive there as the place is quite remote. The driving distance from JB CIQ to the location takes approximately 30 minutes and if you are driving from Tuas / Gelang Patah, it will take you approximately 10-15 minutes time.
P/S: I think the chances for grab car or taxi services are low.

There are impressive buildings here in Kota Iskandar and many nice spots to take photos. We even spotted people taking wedding photography here that day. We spend almost 2 hours around this place to take some shots.

We did not finish touring the whole place that day. It was too big to explore with little time. Maybe we will be back to check out the unique mosque.
